· The Decorative Paper and Vinyl Core: This part makes the main bulk of the vinyl tile. This part handles the aesthetic and look of the vinyl.
– Rigid Back Layer: This part has a foam layer that reduces sound. It also features a patented click design to securely lock the flooring in place.
Will Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT) be easily scratched?
The wear layer thickness is important. Your LVT flooring should also resist scratches from daily use. But, if you throw any sharp object, it will damage the flooring by puncturing it. That will void the warranty of the LVT.

Reasons why vinyl tiles warp is mainly due to these few reasons.
· Uneven subflooring: LVT is a very flexible flooring. This is the reason why it is easy to install. But, because it is a flexible flooring, it will take the shape of the subfloor. Thus, self-levelling is always recommended.
· Poor installation: This is the common cause of flooring warping. This includes not having expansion gaps or enough space to expand. Temperature changes can make the LVT buckle or warp.
· Moisture: If the subfloor is wet or the room has high humidity. It can cause the vinyl to absorb water. This will result in the flooring expanding significantly.
