Cement Screed usually made from traditional sand and cement, a budget friendlier option to raise and smoothen the ground with a raised height while self leveling is to smoothen uneven ground. 

The other main difference between self leveling and cement screed is due to the viscosity of both of them, There is a need for a labour force to manually level the ground with cement screed while Self Leveling as it name suggest level itself upon poured.
